A Voice For Coaches
The CAO is an independent, non-profit organization providing representation and recognition for coaches in a variety of contexts. This association is ”coach-led” and accountable to its members who are "coaches" in all sports.
Coaching Ethically
The CAO is committed to coaching ethically and representing the rights and interests of its member coaches. Through awareness and education, incidents of misconduct can be reduced and ethical coaches can protect our communities.
Workshops & Networking Opportunities
Every coach brings his or her own experience to the playing field, arena or pool. By providing networking opportunities in a workshop format along with successful mentor coach, the CAO brings coaches together in a community forum to share expertise on coaching.
Member Services
In addition to monthly newsletters, members will receive first hand information about the latest coaching news, new coaching tools and book reviews, be eligible to apply for education subsidies and member discounts at seminars and conferences. We currently have partnerships established to provide members with discounts on accomodation as well as books and resources. A number of corporate partnerships are in development for other opportunities/services/discounts for member coaches.
